South of Morocco from Marrakech 8 days

Arrival at night to the airport of Marrakech, pick up at the airport and transfer to the Riad.

Leaving behind the Red City we will head towards the coast until we reach Essaouira, the “Pearl of the Atlantic”. The duration of the journey is about two and a half hours.
Once in Essaouira you will have free time to admire its strength, the fishing port, the labyrinthine medina, the endless beach, see the daily life of its inhabitants and, why not, taste the delicious freshly caught fish and seafood.
We will be back in Marrakech late in the afternoon.
Night in Marrakech.

The day starts leaving Marrakech behind and heading east in the direction of Ouzoud, in the province of Azilal. During the trip, lasting two and a half hours, we will go through different towns, enjoying their life and landscapes.
Once we arrive at the waterfalls de Ouzoud you will have free time to explore the area, enjoying the local flora and fauna (it is common to find small monkeys) and eat at the chiringuitos with views of the fantastic waterfalls, 110 meters drop . If you are hot and you are brave enough, you can take the opportunity to bathe in the river, you will not be the only ones.
We will be back in Marrakech late in the afternoon.
Night in Marrakech

In the morning after breakfast, we will have a 3-hour city tour, visit the gardens, large mosques and palaces.

Night in Marrakech

Early departure to Ouarzazate, a journey of about 2.30 hours. We will head south towards the High Atlas. On the way we will cross the mountain range crossing the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, at 2,260 meters high, enjoying the mountain road and its amazing landscapes. Along the road you will see different Berber villages and their farms. We will visit the museum and the great Kasbah and the studio where international films are recorded and from there we go to a village where Gladiator’s film, Game of Thrones, has been recorded. It is called Ait Ben Haddou, a village all of mud at the foot of the Rio, This fortified city is the most famous in Morocco,

Departure from the Riad in the direction of Merzouga through the Mil-Kasbah road we go to Skoura palm grove and the city of roses, Kelâa M’gouna, Dades valley Todra gorges to face a great place to walk and explore , then continue to Erfoud: famous for its fossilized marble, where there is a fossil marble production workshop.
We head to Erg Chebbi dunes, which signify the beginning of the mighty Sahara desert.
This is where the journey begins on a camel through the dunes, we will go to a tent camp where we will spend the night. We will enjoy local food and an evening of entertainment under the stars south of the Sahara.
Night in Merzouga.

Get up early to see the sunrise show, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are gorgeous. Breakfast in the desert and back to Marrakech.
On the way we will stop to see some villages and landscapes.
In the afternoon we arrive in Marrakech and have free time to enjoy the agetreo of Jemaa el Fna Square or stroll through the souk.
